U.S. Civil War  Justo Saavedra

Veteran of the Civil War, Union side; Justo Saavedra and his son Jose Maria Saavedra were the first persons to settle in present day Saint Johns (San Juan), Arizona.
Sista Saavedra (a descendant) married Clovis Romero.  Sista and Clovis had two children, one is Francisco  shown below with his wife Felicita .  Some of Francisco and Felicita's descendants are shown below. (Note: San Juan was named for Maria de San Juan Baca
