Q.
Is “US ENGLISH” Racist, anti-immigrant?
You be the judge.
“US English” claims it is not a racist,
anti-immigrant. however
While U.S. English maintains it is not racist or has an anti-immigrant
agenda,
According
to federal records, US English has had close ties to the
A. Anti-immigrant organization
Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) and has been financed by
the
B.
Pioneer Fund, a racist organization that promotes the use of eugenics (Eugenics
was, quite literally, an effort to breed better human beings – by
encouraging the reproduction of people with "good" genes and
discouraging those with "bad" genes. Eugenicists effectively
lobbied for social legislation to keep racial and ethnic groups separate, to
restrict immigration from southern and eastern Europe,
and to sterilize people considered "genetically unfit." Elements of
the American eugenics movement were models for the Nazis, whose radical
adaptation of eugenics culminated in the Holocaust.) and also
funded
C.
Richard J. Herrnstein and Charles Murray's infamously racist work The
Bell Curve(the author’s basically tried to convenience readers that there
are large genetic differences in intelligence between races).
D.
A number of anti-immigrant and population control organizations (ethnic cleansing) have been linked to
“US English”.
1. John Tanton, the
founder and original chairman of “US English” is the architect of
this network. Tanton states that "the question
of bilingualism grows out of U.S.
immigration policy." To Tanton, the huge
influx of non- English-speaking immigrants overwhelms the "assimilative
capacity of the country, (John Tanton) called by critics a
"puppeteer" of the national movement to restrict immigration to the
United States.
Tanton says, "If I'm the puppeteer, then
they are the puppets," chortled the 70-year-old
retired Michigan
ophthalmologist, referring to his critics in a recent
interview. "I move and they jump."
Tanton displayed his racist intentions in a 1986 memo, where he
stated that the U.S must work to stem the "Latin onslaught." His
anti-Hispanic message continues:
Tanton, “
In
this society, will the present majority peaceably hand over its political
power to a group that is simply more fertile? . As whites see their power and
control over their lives declining, will they simply go quietly into the
night? Perhaps this is the first instance in which those with their pants up
are going to get caught by those with their pants down!”
